How To Grow Mushrooms
RyzaPod Instructions
With just a few simple steps, even first-time growers can enjoy a bountiful mushroom harvest – no complicated equipment or expertise needed!
To cultivate mushrooms using RyzaPods, you'll need a spore or liquid culture syringe. These can be found easily online. We highly recommend liquid cultures when available.
Step 1: Inoculate
Inject about 5mL of well-mixed spores or culture through the syringe port. Peel the filter cover sticker.
Step 2: Colonize
Keep in a dark and cozy place. Mycelium will appear in 1-3 weeks. Full colonization takes 4-8 weeks.
Step 3: Fruiting
Remove the lid and mist the substrate and humidity dome. Expose the RyzaPod to indirect daylight.
Step 4: Maintain Humidity
Maintain constant humidity by frequently misting both the mushrooms and the dome's interior.
Step 5: Harvest!
Harvest mushrooms as caps open. Gently twist and pull them as they mature.
Step 6: Rehydrate
After harvest, fill the container with water, soak for a bit, and drain. Maintain conditions for more flushes.
